Skyrim has a hidden alchemical secret that you are now going to learn about. The mysterious Alora has opened her shop outside Riften.
Alora will sell you special Alchemical Kits that allow you to create your conconctions wherever you are. She also sells you basic and advanced ingredients for you to experiment with. Every potion you make contributes to your alchemy skill and with the Mortal and Pestle kit you will be able to reveal the ink on special notes that will give you access to even more mixtures (creates perk notes to use).
The Crucible turns raw matreials in detrimental reagents
The Alembic turns raw materials into beneficial reagents
The Retort turns reagents into concentrated potions
The Flask turns reagents into concentrated poisons
The Mortal and Pestle reduces some minerals to reagent powder (and teaches you new things by creating perk notes and ingredient scrolls)
These must be crafted at a forge to be used outside the Alchemy Hut. Alora has a little forge behind her hut for your convenience.
You can learn ingredients just as you already do; sample them in your mouth. Once you learn them you can add them to existing recipes you already know to gain their benefit or mix the new compounds into a completely new creation. Don’t worry about trying everything at once! Alora has allowed for other vendors to sell these items and every now and then a bandit or necromancer might have something on their person.
The ancient traditions of alchemy longed to create gold from common ingredients…we almost have you covered. You can create gems and soul gems from special items.
You can create higher tiered healing potion from lower tier; so three lesser healings will give you a healing potion. This will greatly reduce your pack weight and allow lesser potions to have some value.
The Forsaken Cave and Forelhost both house mysteries for you to discover information about Distillation. It is worth the trip to find this hidden knowledge.
Notes: Perks do not play noises, once you read the note you can sell it/throw it out.
Here are the Alchemy Redone Perks:
All Perks stack with other perk mods, therefore, most are used for being able to create your compounds with a few added bonuses.
